Three Piece Party! Pt. 2 - The morning of

7:00 am - roll into Raleigh

7:30 am - all cars on track for photos

Lately, there has been a shift at drifting events to showcase the cars before the event starts—we figured it would be interesting to do the same.

As we rolled in, it was really cool to see all the cars lined up and ready for driving. But what was even cooler was seeing everyone's wheels nice and shiny clean for the chance to win the Did the Dishes Award.

It wasn't until we saw all the cars in one spot that we could see how many wheels had come through our workshop over the years. Some of them we had completely forgotten about since it had been so long - we're talking 6 or 7 years ago and they were still looking as good as ever!

Being a wheel-focused event, there was a bit of concern around the track conditions as northern NSW had just been smashed with rain in the months prior. So we ended up asking the Raleigh team to backfill the track edges and had a few of the homies sweep the track.

As much as we could've just fixed damaged wheels, we wanted to avoid anything major happening.

I don't think the reality of everything hit until we lined up the cars and looked down the hill at everyone hanging around. It really set the chill vibes for the rest of the event.

Being around wheels for this long, you start to get used to seeing nice wheels regularly off a car; however, it's not so often we get to see the wheels fitted in person, as most of the time, the wheels leave the workshop never to be seen again.

It was the first time in a while we had really seen so much individuality in everyone's style.

Just from the morning alone, we definitely realised we want to keep on holding events like this.

After finalising our decision for the awards and grabbing all the photos, it was time for the driving to start.
